The 2027-2028 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available now! Completing your FAFSA may open the door to grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and other financial aid opportunities. College is an investment in your future, and financial aid can help make it more affordable.

Interested in transferring to Ferris State University?

MCC students are invited to join us on October 16 for an exciting opportunity to explore Ferris State University (FSU) in Big Rapids, Michigan. This visit is open to all current MCC students and offers a great chance to experience FSU's vibrant campus, innovative academic programs, and welcoming community firsthand.

During the visit, you'll meet MCC Counselor Brandy Bunting, Advisor Lisa Gardner, and fellow MCC students. The event will take place from approximately 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

While on campus, you'll enjoy:
🎤 An admissions presentation from the FSU Office of Admissions
🚶‍♂️‍➡️ A student-led walking tour of campus
🥪 A complimentary lunch

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation. However, students who attend will receive a $50 Visa gift card at the conclusion of the event to help offset travel expenses.

MCC campuses will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 5 through Monday, Sept. 7, in recognition of Labor Day. During this time, the MCC recreation department will be closed, which includes the college's pool, gym and fitness center. MCC will re-open for services on Tuesday, Sept. 8, however, there will be no classes on that date. Classes will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
