Hi all!

I am currently looking for at least 6 adults (18 and older) that would be willing to help us on Friday’s at Classical Conversations in Sidney with child care.

It would be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with an hour break from noon to 1:00 pm for lunch.

This is NOT a paying job. I’m looking for people who would be willing to minister and help homeschooling moms with littles once a week.

If I can get at least 6 adults, you would only have to help one Friday a month. There also may be a small compensation but nothing huge.

So, if you are interested or if you know someone who might be interested, please let me know. Feel free to message me!

Choose the program below that fits your family best and come learn more this Friday July 5th at the Amos Memorial Public Library. Be sure to register for each event you plan to attend!

Sidney Window into Foundations (Ages 4 - 12)
- Find out what we do in this “window” into Foundations (our Pre-K through 6th grade program). Children 4 and up are welcome to participate in hands-on crafts and simple science experiments. Join us Friday July 5th from 10 am to 11:30 am in the main floor meeting room at the Library.

Sidney Window into Essentials (Ages 9 - 12)
- Find out what we do in this “window” into Essentials (our English grammar, writing structure and style, and core math practice for ages 9 - 12). Children 9 and up are welcome to participate in an English grammar activity, a fun math game, and writing. Join us Friday July 5th from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm in the main floor meeting room at the Library.

Sidney Window into Challenge (Ages 12 to 18)
- Find out what we do for middle school and high school in a Classical Conversations community by joining this “window” into Challenge. Parents and teens 12 and up are welcome to join us for engaging conversations around logic (math) and exposition (literature) and to connect with homeschooling teens and their parents. Join us Friday July 5th from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the main floor meeting room at the Library.

Are you curious about homeschooling?

Who saw the amazing Northern lights last night? We did and of course my kids were asking me what is the northern lights exactly. Well, I didn’t know but I found this great explanation!

If you missed it last night, they are supposed to make another appearance tonight from 10 pm to 2 am. If you live in town you may need to drive a bit out of town to get away from the lights to see it better.
