Discover the best kept secret of summer chamber music festivals: Maine Chamber Music Seminar is an intimate, two-week chamber music festival in residence at Snow Pond Center for the Arts in central Maine. Throughout the seminar, participants and faculty work closely together, taking a deep-dive into under-celebrated gems alongside traditional repertoire favorites. Our participants span a range of ages and experiences from conservatory and university undergraduates to early-career, budding professionals.

After coaching sessions, you can find participants and faculty taking kayaks out onto beautiful Snow Pond, working on reeds together, or playing basketball. If you join us in Maine this summer, you’ll emerge from your 2 weeks at MCMS a changed musician: more committed, connected, and creatively sparked.

Our annual Maine Chamber Music Seminar (MCMS) Scholarship Benefit Concert is coming up THIS FRIDAY, December 19th, to raise money to enable deserving young musicians to attend our program. We need not remind you how challenging the current climate is for young artists pursuing education and careers in the arts. The Maine Chamber Music Seminar at Snow Pond serves as a beacon of intentionality in the lives of our participants, providing inspiring mentorship and invaluable connections. The generosity of our community plays a crucial role in helping us run our program and allowing all qualified young musicians to attend.
The December 19th Scholarship Benefit Concert is our most important night of fundraising all year. We will share music, stories, and wine, and bring a sense of the vibrancy of MCMS to you in NYC.
If you are able to join us on December 19th, please RSVP for your free ticket today, and we will be delighted to share the music of Schubert, Brahms, and Gordon Bruce. Whether you are able to donate $25, $50, $5,000 or more, your donation will be put to excellent use. If you are unable to attend but still wish to donate, we are so grateful!
