🌸 Mother’s Day is just a few days away! 🌸

Make your way out to the Fairlawn FFA Greenhouse to pick up some amazing flowers and hanging baskets that our students have worked hard to grow and produce this spring. Whether you’re shopping for Mom, Grandma, or adding some color to your own porch, we have something for everyone!

🪴 Greenhouse Hours:
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Saturday, May 9: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Saturday, May 16: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

On Thursday and Friday, Fairlawn FFA members traveled to Columbus to attend the 98th State FFA Convention.

On Thursday, members toured Airstream before heading to Columbus for the second general session. During the session, they listened to keynote speakers who encouraged them to broaden their horizons and become more involved in FFA.

On Friday, the chapter returned to Columbus for a day of recognition and celebration. In the morning session, three Fairlawn FFA officers were honored for earning Gold ratings on their officer books, highlighting their hard work and dedication throughout the 2025 school year.

In the afternoon, seven members were recognized for earning their State FFA Degree—an outstanding accomplishment that reflects their commitment to agricultural education and leadership.

Congratulations to all of our members on their achievements! We are proud of your hard work and look forward to seeing all that FFA has in store for you in the future.

The Fairlawn FFA Greenhouse is officially open! 🌱🌸

Come out and see the results of months of hard work by our students—and check out the beautiful flowers they’ve grown and arranged.

We are also accepting pots for custom planting! Drop yours off, and we’ll take care of them in the greenhouse until mid-May.

Greenhouse Hours:

* Weekdays: 7:45 AM – 3:20 PM (during the school day)
* Special Weekend Hours:
* May 9: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
* May 16: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Today, Fairlawn FFA members traveled to the Shelby County Fairgrounds to assist the Shelby County Soil and Water Conservation District with their annual tree packing event.

Students worked hard to organize, sort, and prepare trees for the upcoming sale—gaining hands-on experience while giving back to the community.

A big thank you to Shelby County Soil and Water for providing this great opportunity for our members!
