Join us in congratulating Whittier Early Childhood Center staff on maintaining their Step Up to Quality 5-star rating! This is the highest attainable rating given by the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce and Ohio Job & Family Services.

Whittier Early Childhood Center has been providing the highest quality preschool experience since 2019. WECC earned the 5-star rating in its first year and has maintained it every year since.

Step Up To Quality is a five–star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed preschool licensing and school-age child care licensing health and safety regulations. Step Up To Quality program standards are based on national research identifying standards that lead to improved outcomes for children.
