The District's social media sites are places where we encourage interaction and discussion between parents, students, staff, alumni, friends, and anyone interested in Camden County Technical Schools. When the district joined the various social media sites, we aimed to create a safe environment where community members are free to make comments, ask questions, and/or offer suggestions. We ask that a
nyone engaging with our social media channels show courtesy, kindness, and respect for all other members. The following guidelines were established and apply to any engagement with us or with others members on any of our social media channels. By engaging with our social media channels, you agree to the following:
Comments may not:
• Contain spam, be defamatory of any person, deceive others, be obscene, offensive, threatening, abusive, hateful, be inflammatory or promote s*xually explicit material or violence
• Promote discrimination based on race, s*x, religion, nationality, disability, s*xual orientation or age
• Breach any of the terms of any of the social media platforms themselves.
• Be off-topic, irrelevant or unintelligible
• Contain any advertising or promote any services
We reserve the right to remove anything we deem to be:
• Abusive or personal attacks
• Unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful or embarrassing to any other entity
• Third party advertising
• Chain letters or ‘spam
Breach of Guidelines
We reserve the right to determine, at our discretion, whether contributions to our social media channels breach our guidelines. We reserve the right to hide or delete comments made on our social media sites, as well as block/terminate involvement by users who do not follow these guidelines. We also reserve the right to send any comments we deem appropriate to law enforcement authorities for investigation as we feel necessary or that is required by law. The views and opinions expressed on the District's social media sites do not necessarily represent those of Camden County Technical Schools. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or reliability of information posted by external parties.
