ROAD TO 5k
Aging backwards💪🏾🔥
Me and Des (Desire Somerville) connected divinely and authentically at crucial parts of our wellness journeys. After discovering we’re practically the same person (insider 😂) I recognized her willingness to join me for my first 5k in over 20years (😩). This is her first EVER👏🏾🎉
She was all gung-ho to join me for this 5k walk/run because “We’re just doing it for fun right??!” 🫣😂
Something shifted in my personal training one day, so once I started training with Des and saw her potential to run more of the race, I got/get a little out of hand 🤦🏾‍♀️with each growing day 😂🤣.
-AND Now that I’m OFFICIALLY her training coach (🤪😭😭😭🤣😂) I’ve ONLY tricked her 2 times (on the clock) into her greatness.🙌🏾👟🔥
Each time I push her past her limits, it reminds us both that there are NO LIMITS, beyond the one’s we place on ourselves.
NO MATTER how we finish this 5k in September, we’re enjoying life and aging backwards. 💪🏾❤️👟

I’VE BEEN ‘DELIVERT!
👀 I’m reposting this to brag and say that ONLY 5 shorts
years after this recording…
- I AM no longer running from bugs (just quick step backs).
-I’ve killed two bugs without spraying them to death from 10ft away (foot and swatter work).
-I no longer vacuum them up (I use a broom instead).

I started this journey back in 2016 (going live on Periscope), teaching people how to coupon, shop strategically, and save money with intention. What started as livestreams and sharing simple tips eventually grew into online classes, workshops, courses, and real community.

Dr. Ros was one of the very first people to open her doors (bookshop at the time) and allow me to host/teach an in-person workshop, and I’ll never forget that. I’m so grateful for people like her and Charneé Robinson, who have continued to stay connected with me throughout the years.❤️

already knows this, but I hope Dr. Ros knows too…I’m here for you whenever and however you need me.

This is a season of collaboration, community, and celebration… and I’m excited for all that’s ahead.
