This month's speaker will be Deacon James Keating, Professor of Spiritual Theology and Spiritual Director at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, who will present:

"Where Two or More Are Gathered: Prayer in Fellowship"

Come reflect on the importance of prayer, faith, and fellowship in our lives and deepen your relationship with Christ alongside other Catholic women.

Fr. Matt Nagel (Class of 2015, Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas) offers a glimpse into a single day in the life of a parish priest. From funerals to weddings, from the bedside of the dying to the confessional, his story reflects the profound calling of the priesthood. It is for this mission that we form our men at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary: to become alter Christus — another Christ for God's people, present whenever they are needed, accompanying them in moments of joy, sorrow, hope, and mercy.

Today, the Church celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, a beautiful reminder to turn to Mary and contemplate the life of Christ through the mysteries of the Rosary. A new display of sacred artwork is now inspiring our seminarians and guests at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. The Eucharistic Witnesses series features portraits of saints whose lives were rooted in love for the Eucharist, reminding us that holiness is both relatable and attainable.

As these faces of faith lead us toward the Chapel of St. Joseph, they invite us to encounter Christ more deeply and follow Him with renewed devotion.

Today, we are pleased to introduce Seminarian Jesse Willis of the Diocese of Rapid City, who is currently in formation at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary.
We are grateful to accompany Jesse on his vocational journey and to witness his generous response to God's call.
Let us remain united in prayer for Jesse and all of our seminarians as they follow the Lord with trust and seek to discover His will for their lives.

As we continue highlighting the seminarians discerning a call to the priesthood for the Diocese of Rapid City, we're excited to feature Seminarian Jesse Willis!

Jesse is currently in the Configuration Stage of formation at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, MO. During this important stage of seminary formation, Jesse is called to grow more deeply in his relationship with Jesus Christ while being configured more closely to Christ the Good Shepherd in preparation for priestly ministry.

Through theological studies, spiritual formation, pastoral experiences, and community life, Jesse continues to discern God's will and develop the gifts needed to serve the people of God as a diocesan priest. The Configuration Stage is a significant period of formation that helps seminarians embrace the heart of Christ and prepare for the responsibilities of priestly service.

Please join us in praying for Jesse as he continues to respond generously to the Lord's call and faithfully follows where God is leading him.

Be assured of our prayers, Jesse. We are grateful for your witness of faith and look forward to witnessing all that God has in store for you.

Our September Fiat gathering featured Fr. Charles Samson, Assistant Professor of Biblical Theology at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary.

Participants had the opportunity to hear his presentation:

“As the Deer Longs: How to Read Psalm 42”

Fr. Samson shared deeper reflections on this beautiful psalm, helping attendees gain a richer understanding of its biblical and spiritual significance. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring and enriching Fiat gathering!
