Great minds, great vibes! ✨ Mr. Cohen hosted a student meet and greet with an incredible group of respectful, caring, creative, enthusiastic and fun group of SBS eighth graders. Students brought fresh ideas and suggestions to make this year the best one yet.

Calling all Tigers 🐯– Mr. Cohen wants to hear from you!

Students are invited to participate in a Virtual Meet & Greet hosted by our new superintendent, Mr. Cohen, where they can share their perspectives and connect with him and each other before returning to school this fall.

📅 When? Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m.

💻 Where? Online from the comfort of home

Join us for this innovative and engaging conversation! Mr. Cohen will ask questions throughout the session.

Shrewsbury parents brew strong connections that make our school community so special.

SBS and the SPTA recently hosted Coffee & Conversations ☕sessions, providing parents with the opportunity to connect with new Superintendent Mr. Cohen, Assistant Principal/Supervisor of Curriculum & Instruction Cheryl Salway and Interim Supervisor of Special Services Mr. Castagno before the start of the school year.

The small group conversations showcased our community's outstanding level of parent involvement and interest. We appreciate our strong partnership with the SPTA and local businesses that supported the event.

Thank you to Starbucks and Dunkin' for their coffee donations, and to Bagel Masters in Shrewsbury for donating bagels.

The SBS Buildings and Grounds crew is pleased to showcase the newly installed American flag that was donated to the school by Ms. Salway's father. The flag will stand tall with our community for years to come. ⭐

SBS thanks Mr. Tillett, Mr. Bieber and Mr. Cherry for working together seamlessly and safely to complete a job well done, as well as Ms. Salway and Miss Stambaugh who helped guide the project.

Fourth graders embarked on a trip to Philadelphia and stepped into the pages of history! Students stood before the Liberty Bell, walked through Independence Hall, and visited other historical landmarks like Franklin Court, the Betsy Ross House, and the National Constitution Center.

Thank you to SBS staff and parent chaperones who helped make the trip full of excitement and adventure as students reflected on their final lessons of the year.
