RISE offers parent-child classes for children 6 weeks - 30 months that encourages babies to be authentic, attentive, and emotionally and socially supportive to one another while giving parents lifelong tools to foster these attributes. I have been in the field of Early Childhood for almost 25 years. In that time I have had the opportunity to be a part of many families' lives as carer of children,
teacher and mentor for adults, parent educator, child advocate, and parent (my favorite and most challenging role). Along the way I fell in love with a way of being with children called Educaring® which includes being with children in an authentic, trusting, respectful kind of way, without judgement. I learned through my studies and experiences that the way we life early on, strongly impacts every other area of your being for the rest of your life. This is when I created RISE. RISE gives me the opportunity to provide strength to families during those most critical years. At RISE we offer monthly Network Meetings for all to attend, Parent-Child Groups for children 6 weeks - 30 months, and classes for expectant families.
