As we begin the fall basketball AAU season, it's time to position the spotlight on Maddie Hogan, an outstanding point guard out of Douglas High School. As she begins her sophomore year, she already has a vast collection of honors, including 1st team varsity all-stars selection in the prestigious GymRats Challenge Tournament this past June in New York.

She possesses all of the traits of a 5-star point guard. With her athleticism, lock-down defense, court vision, ability to get to the rim, and lost art of ball distribution in making her teammates better, she is the REAL DEAL. CMF Basketball will be hosting a 3-on-3 fundraising event on Columbus Day. - All proceeds donated to a student scholarship fund and local family facing the immense challenges associated with their 11 year-old daughter diagnosed with cancer. So meet the challenge whether you play for CMF, a different basketball program, or simply want to be involved. Have some fun by forming a team, or simply sign up and be added to a team. Congratulations to Evie Le a rising senior at Grafton High School who has committed to play at Maine Maritime Academy after graduation. Evie is a hidden gem who doesn't seek or gather headlines but she is a true teammate who does all of the little things to help her team win. Congratulations also go to the MMA coaching staff for recognizing this young lady who was introduced late to basketball possesses raw untapped potential and her most productive basketball days lay ahead. CMF Basketball - Please be aware that we will NOT be conducting our scheduled tryout on Wednesday, August 3rd for the fall season. CMF would love to hear from boys and girls in grades 6 and 7 but since we have few other openings, we can't justified charging parents $20.00 or $25.00 for a tryout.
