Hey. Sorry...I know I've asked this question before but....who do I talk to about virtual learning?🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
I have a couple of quick questions....is Friday a in person or virtual day? And what are the dates for fall break?
When will progress reports be coming home with students? No grades are showing in the jgrade system.
Anyone have trouble with the Reading part of IReady?
A little late but what's the earliest we can drop the kids off?
I have a question... As I see the numbers grow and the posts about so many teachers and fellow students around the parish pop positive I'm starting to rethink on campus learning this year. Atleast for right now.... How do I see about going virtual with my kids?
Attention Seniors & Parents:
July 6, 2020

MAGNUS Parents and Seniors,

Thank you for being patient with us as we waited for guidance on graduation. We are excited to announce that graduation will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 5pm at Broadmoor Methodist Church, 3715 Youree Dr., Shreveport, La 71105. Graduation practice will be held Monday, July 27th at 10A at the same location. Please be on time and wear a face mask. We are fortunate that this facility is large enough to allow us to adhere to social distancing guidelines and still be able to celebrate and honor our seniors.
Due to size restrictions and keeping to capacity, each graduate has been given four tickets to distribute among friends/family members. Guests must be in possession of the ticket for entrance to graduation.) Family members who are not feeling well or who are considered as high risk for COVID are encouraged to stay home. Temperatures will be taking upon entry into the building. We have marked off, four-person family units in the sanctuary so that families will be allowed to sit together, but separate families will be asked to space out throughout the church. All Guests and graduates are also asked to wear masks/face coverings.
We will also be adhering to social distancing guidelines for graduates. Graduates are asked to arrive dressed in caps and gowns no later than 4:30 for lineup/instructions. They will be spaced out during the entrance/processional and seated in pews at least six feet apart in the middle section of the church. Graduates are also asked to wear masks prior to the ceremony, although they will be allowed to remove them when they process in and walk across the stage to receive their diplomas. All the typical speeches/awards/recognition will still occur during the ceremony.
J Brown Photography will be present to take photographs of your graduate during the ceremony. Photos will be available for purchase. Graduates will receive their empty diploma cover on the stage, and after exiting the stage each graduate will stop at the table with Mr. Seabaugh to receive their diploma and senior packet. We will have space marked for graduates to stand/wait to help them keep their distance. We are also asking after the ceremony that families do not linger and gather.
If a student is unable to participate, he/she will be able to pick up his/her diploma at school. There will obviously be no penalty for a student who is unable to attend, and we will still call out his/her name for recognition. Students should contact the school to let us know by Friday, July 17th if they will not be able to attend between 8A-12P.

Thank you for adhering to our guidelines for a safer graduation. We are trying to give our graduates as much of a “normal” graduation as possible while still adhering to guidelines to keep everyone as safe as we can.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thanking you in advance,

Dr. Mary Nash Robinson, Principal & Senior Sponsors Staff
You all forgot to post a senior.
Hello. Can someone get in contact with Ms. Megan Sprout. I've been trying to reach her via the email provided on Magnolia's website. It's concerning online tutoring that my son has been trying to work on.
With Caddo Parish Schools announcing revised graduation for seniors, has Magnolia Charter set a date for there graduation?
Is anyone else having trouble with the school's site
How do i zoom with Coach Tomas?
