Many of you know about my nonprofit, A Village for Val, which provides support, community and education for special needs individuals and their families. I have a huge rummage sale planned for Saturday, 8/29, 7-2 at the Grawood Baptist Church gym. All proceeds will go to the nonprofit. You’ll see my posting some items on marketplace today and this week . My house is full of donations for which I’m so thankful!!! Some of these items will be posted and if not sold will be at the sale. I hope you’ll come check it out!

Can I copy a former pastor and ask you to “leave $1 on the pew” for an urgent need ? I have 2 clients through my nonprofit, A Village for Val, who desperately need help out of their current situations. If you have $1 to spare, please consider this worthy (tax-deductible) cause. Click the link below to donate and please share. God bless! 🤟🏼❤️

We had a crowd this week at sign language class! It was so exciting to see so many friends, family members and educators learning ASL! No class next Tuesday the 23rd, but I will be back ready to go on the 30th!

In the interest of providing you all with a place to donate your extra money, I am attaching the donation link to A Village for Val. This is my new nonprofit organization established to provide help, support and community for special needs individuals and their caregivers. You will get an emailed receipt for your tax-deductible donation (which you can make recurring if you often find yourself with money you don't know what to do with!) Current goals are helping at-risk, deaf and/or disabled young adults obtain safe housing and drivers' education as well as education in life skills. Will you join me in providing a village of support and encouragement for these young adults?
