Campus. From the beginning, the priority has been to aid people from diverse backgrounds to improve the quality of their lives and become contributing participants in this community's cultural and economic development. As the needs of the Shreveport/Bossier City metropolitan area have changed over the years, so has the Southern University at Shreveport campus and its role as an active participant in raising the level of excellence for the community.

Wellness Wednesday at SUSLA!

Southern University at Shreveport celebrated Wellness Wednesday during Welcome Week, giving Jaguars a chance to relax, get creative, and take a moment to prioritize their well-being. Students, faculty, and staff enjoyed stress-relieving adult coloring books and received free goodies with encouraging reminders to keep going and never give up.

Build the Bag: Financial Education!

SUSLA Jaguars gained valuable financial knowledge during Build the Bag, featuring representatives from POE Federal Credit Union! Students learned about budgeting, saving, investing and making smart financial decisions while having the opportunity to ask questions and prepare for their financial futures.
