Huntington will transition to virtual instruction tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19, to allow district maintenance staff full access to the campus to address air-conditioning needs. Maintenance teams have been working throughout the evening to evaluate systems and make necessary repairs as quickly as possible.

πŸš¨πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ ATTENTION RAIDER FAMILY! πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈπŸš¨

As we prepare for an outstanding 2026–2027 school year, we ask that every Raider and Raider family review and support our school expectations. Working together helps us create a safe, respectful, and successful learning environment for everyone.

Please take a few moments to review the following important policies:

πŸ“ Daily School Operations
β€’ School doors open at 8:15 a.m.
β€’ Students should report directly to breakfast or homeroom.
β€’ Be in class before the tardy bell.
β€’ Avoid unnecessary movement during "Dead Time."
β€’ Students arriving late must be checked in by a parent/guardian (unless arriving on a late bus).

πŸ‘• Dress Code Expectations
Dress for success and represent Raider Pride!
Please review the approved dress code before the first day of school. Student IDs are required daily, and dress code expectations will be enforced beginning on Day One.

πŸ“± Electronic Devices Policy (Louisiana Act 313)
Cell phones, earbuds, headphones, smart devices, and other personal electronic devices may not be used during the instructional day.
If a device is seen or heard:
β€’ It will be confiscated.
β€’ It will be turned in to the Discipline Office.
β€’ A parent or guardian must pick it up.

Let's start the year focused on learning, leadership, and success!

πŸ’™ We Can. We Will.
πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ Be Here. Be On Time. Be Ready.
⭐ Respect β€’ Integrity β€’ Accountability β€’ Pride

Please review the attached flyers carefully and discuss these expectations with your student before the first day of school. Together, we'll make the 2026–2027 school year our best one yet!
