Distributed by Star Roses, Bubble Double™ was awarded the Local Artist ARTS award for outstanding performance in the Köppen Climate Regions generally situated in coastal California (Csa Climate) and the humid region stretching from the Midwest to the Eastern seaboard (Dfa Climate).

American Rose has earned national recognition as an Award of Publication Excellence winner in the Communication Concepts annual publications competition. American Rose was entered in the nonprofit section of the competition for print magazines and journals of more than 32 pages produced by one-to-two persons.

In the magazine and journal portion of the competition, only 44 were recognized, and only 37 were recognized in the “Print over 32 pages” category. This year marks the 23rd time American Rose has earned an award.

Here’s the last American Rose Trials for Sustainability’s 2024 Local Artist winner: Scentifall® Lemon 🌹🌹🌹

A Local Artist title is awarded to varieties that perform better than two control roses in regional trials that evaluate roses for two years with no chemical treatments or fertilization. Scentifall® Lemon demonstrated outstanding performance in Köppen Climate Regions generally situated in coastal California (Csa Climate) and the humid region stretching from the Midwest to the Eastern seaboard (Dfa Climate). Scentifall® Lemon is a fragrant, bright yellow miniature rose that fades to a complementary soft yellow. Its tidy and rounded growth makes it a useful rose for hanging baskets, containers, or mass plantings at the front of a border. Bred in the UK by the internationally known plantsman Charles Valin, Scentifall® Lemon (VPRO 14-02) is marketed in the U.S. by PlantHaven International, Inc.

A Local Artist title is awarded to varieties that perform better than two control roses in regional trials that evaluate roses for two years with no chemical treatments or fertilization. Celestial NightTM demonstrated outstanding performance in the Köppen Csa Climate Region of coastal California. Celestial NightTM is an upright and bushy floribunda that displays ruffled purple blooms. The petal-packed blooms are displayed in clusters of three to five per stem. Celestial NightTM (WEKebtigrad) was bred by Christian Bédard and is marketed by Weeks Roses.
