Teamwork in action! Our second graders put their problem-solving skills to the test as they worked together to create and navigate a marble maze. From trying new ideas to cheering one another on, we loved seeing collaboration, creativity, and encouragement at every turn!

We’re wrapping up our Welcome to the Nest series by introducing Stephanie Kyle, our new 6th Grade Math Teacher!

Stephanie is excited to help our students strengthen their problem-solving skills, build confidence in the classroom, and discover that math can be both challenging and rewarding. We’re so excited for the knowledge, encouragement, and enthusiasm she’ll bring to our sixth-grade students this year!

There’s no better way to begin a new school year than together!💙 Today, our Southfield community gathered for our Opening Flag Ceremony to officially kick off the 2026–27 school year. Our 8th graders continued a beloved Southfield tradition by ringing the bell 93 times—one for each year our school has been educating, growing, and bringing generations of Eagles together. Here’s to Year 93 and another wonderful year at Southfield! 🔔

The stage is set for another new face at Southfield!🎭 Meet Lauren Treme, our new Drama Director.

Lauren will bring her creativity and enthusiasm to the stage, helping our students build confidence, discover new talents, and experience the joy of storytelling and performance. We can’t wait to see the creativity, collaboration, and memorable moments she’ll inspire both onstage and behind the scenes!
