More Mardi Gras fun!

We started the school day with love for all with roses for faculty and staff. The morning ended with a community parade. Thank you all for celebrating Mardi Gras with the Gingerbread family!

We at 81st Street were so excited this morning that our amazing librarian, Mrs. Rose made sure that our kindergartners and preschoolers were involved in voting for The Louisiana Readers’ Choice Election. One of these wonderful books 📚 will be chosen to win an award on its outstanding merit! 🏆Thank you Mrs. Rose 🌹 for not only promoting the love of reading 📖 to our kids, but introducing them to their first voting experience! 🗳️ The voting experience ended with a celebration including popsicles and slime!

Thank you, S.C.O.R.E. for blessing exceptionally well behaved learners with toys for Christmas! Your service to Shreveport schools is impeccable!

Thank you, Xcel Services and Mrs. Kandis Thomasfor donating toys, books, and socks for each and every student at 81st Street ECE School! Your overwhelming support allowed each child to go home with a gift back and a huge smile.
