Saturday was a rugby day! Thank you to everyone who made the 2nd Shreveport Rugby Day amazing for us. We are so grateful to all of our community partners Shreveport Parks And Recreation (Spar) Bert-Kouns, Shreveport Fire Department, Shreveport Police Department, and last but not least LifeShare Blood Center. The donors who gave supplied enough blood to save 27 lives. I’m so proud of us!
Thank you to both Louisiana Lagniappe Women's Rugby and Dallas Harlequins Rugby Football Club who put on a hell of a game! Yesterday was amazing!

Today is the day!

Shreveport Women's Rugby is hosting the second Shreveport Rugby Day here in the ArkLaTex THIS SATURDAY (tomorrow)! This is an event you do not want to miss if you have ever been curious about the sport of rugby or have little athletes who may want to try it out. Shreveport Women's Rugby and Shreveport Rugby Football Club will be running drills from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. for all students to participate in. 2 p.m. is the kickoff for the Baton Rouge Lagniappe vs. Dallas Quinns game. This is a BIG DEAL! The club is bringing two regional teams to play for kids right here in our community at A.C. Steere Park Saturday at 2p.m.
Shreveport Police and Shreveport Fire will be on site to give folks a look up-close at what they do and their gear.

The Valentines will now be hosting a blood drive thanks to our partnership with LifeShare Blood Center! Thanks to all of our community partners Shreveport Police Department Shreveport Fire Department Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission Shreveport Parks And Recreation (Spar) Bert-Kouns. We hope to make it a great day for all the student-athletes in our community!
