Michael, one of our Bee Safe Drivers, says, "Always, always, always.... check your blind spots before moving over." When making lane changes, your mirrors only let you see a portion of the road. Quickly and safely checking your blind spots can help prevent collisions.

Does your teen get enough sleep during the summer? Sleep is essential for safe driving! It is recommended that teens get 8-10 hours of sleep at night for optimal health and safety. According to NHTSA, drivers age 17-23 years old are at a higher risk for a crash caused by drowsy driving. (source: https://www.ntsb.gov/Advocacy/safety-topics/Pages/teen-driver-safety.aspx)

According to the Nation Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 1,105 bicyclists were killed in traffic crashes in 2022. 38 Hour Teen Course | beesafedriving Teen Courses are required to provide of 30 hours of classroom instruction followed by 8 hours of individualized behind-the-wheel instruction to your student.
