Northwood High School (Shreveport, LA)

Northwood High School was established in 1967 and has a student body drawn from both rural and urban areas. The schools mascot is the Falcon.

The school is situated in the community of Blanchard, Louisiana, in Northern Caddo Parish, and is one of many high schools serving the Caddo Parish School District. Pro golfer Hal Sutton is a notable alumnus of Northwood High School. Prior to August 1988, Northwood High School was a Junior-Senior High School serving grades 7-12. In the fall of 1988, Donnie Bickham Middle School opened up and began serving students in grades 6-8.
