Congratulations to LSUS biology students Hayden Hanna (left) and Jonathan Eubanks, whose first-ever research project -- on genetic diversity in Chilean geckos -- won an award at a conference in Michigan! The students also experienced their first plane ride, the first trip out of the South and even their first taste of Korean barbecue! The season is done and we finished in 6th place. That’s 6th out of more than 300 schools in the nation. What a great season it was, and our best finish ever. This would not be possible without all our sponsors.
