Caddo was recently selected by Chiefs for Change to highlight the district’s efforts over the past 3 years to improve middle school math proficiency. Increasing time while providing extensive support to district classrooms, Caddo has seen a 9-percent increase in student achievement. Caddo Superintendent Dr. Lamar Goree was invited to speak on Capitol Hill with members of Congress and their staffs about how these gains became a reality.
