APPROVED: 6% PAY RAISE FOR CADDO EMPLOYEES

Tonight, the Caddo Parish School Board approved the district’s 2026-2027 budget, including a 6 percent across-the-board raise for employees beginning July 1.

This is an investment in the people who make Caddo Schools work, including the teachers, support staff, school leaders, bus drivers, cafeteria teams, custodians, maintenance teams, office staff and district employees serving students every day.

A major investment in Caddo employees!

This afternoon, Superintendent Burton presented a proposed 2026-2027 budget to the Caddo Parish School Board that includes a 6 percent across-the-board pay raise for all employees.

If approved, the raise would take effect July 1 and provide a lasting salary increase for employees across every position in the district.

This recommendation is the result of months of work to develop a proposal that is both meaningful for employees and sustainable for the district.

Every day, Caddo employees teach, support, transport, feed, encourage and care for students. This proposal reflects a continued commitment to investing in the people who make student success possible.

The Board will consider the proposal as part of the 26-27 budget process.

A new school year is bringing a new, easier way to pay school fees!

For the 2026-2027 school year, Caddo Schools is launching SchoolCash Online, the district’s new payment platform for school-related fees. SchoolCash Online will replace PaySchools Central and will become the main way families make school payments.

Beginning tomorrow, June 1, parents and guardians will start receiving auto-subscribe emails with instructions to get started. Be sure to check your email and follow the steps so your account is ready to go.

With SchoolCash Online, families will be able to view fees, make payments, receive reminders and keep school payments organized, all in one convenient and secure place.

Check your inbox, follow the instructions and get ready for a simpler way to pay for the 2026-2027 school year!

Today, Caddo Parish Public Schools joins our nation in pausing to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As a district proud to serve a military-affiliated community, with Barksdale Air Force Base right here in our region, we know the meaning of service and sacrifice is deeply personal for many of our students, employees, families, and neighbors. Caddo Schools remembers and honors their sacrifice.
