Violet Ogea is a 12-year-old student at Youree Drive Middle Magnet with a passion for singing and a deep love for R&B music. Violet draws inspiration from artists like JoJo, SZA, and Kendrick Lamar. She has been performing since early childhood and looks forward to continuing to grow as an artist.

Violet Ogea is one of 11 acts of talented Caddo kids competing for the $5,000 cash prize and an incredible prize pack in this year's Caddo's Rising Star talent competition!

Performing since childhood, Scarlett has developed her talents both on stage and in music, with dreams of pursuing a future as a singer and actress. She currently performs with Shreveport Little Theatre and will appear as Violet Beauregarde in an upcoming production of W***y Wonka.

A new school year is bringing a new, easier way to pay school fees!

For the 2026-2027 school year, Caddo Schools is launching SchoolCash Online, the district’s new payment platform for school-related fees. SchoolCash Online will replace PaySchools Central and will become the main way families make school payments.

Beginning tomorrow, June 1, parents and guardians will start receiving auto-subscribe emails with instructions to get started. Be sure to check your email and follow the steps so your account is ready to go.

With SchoolCash Online, families will be able to view fees, make payments, receive reminders and keep school payments organized, all in one convenient and secure place.
