Eta Psi Sigma hosted its annual Swim 1922 dry clinic in partnership with Shreveport Spar at Bill Cockrell Recreation Center. The youth learned about water safety and participated in games for prizes in addition to scoring goody bags and participation certificates for completing the class. Soror Devin Sibley-Smith was the facilitator and serves as Committee Chair. We want to thank her for her commitment to safe summer swimming and again to Mr. Eric Anderson, Bill Cockrell Center Manager for collaborating with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.

On June 1st Eta Psi Sigma Chapter conducted its Annual Youth Symposium in partnership with the Shreveport Spar at Bill Cockrell Recreation Center. The youth were exposed to fun activities; dynamic speakers and the Shreveport Fire Department gave a fire truck tour. The Chapter would like to thank Dr. Marcus Webb, Dr. Rhonda Marie, Jaschandria Bell, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, Ms. Mildred Bowman, Mrs. Sean Payne, Ms. Alice Pennington and the Shreveport Fire Department. A special thank you to the Committee Chair, Soror Carl Gant and Mr. Eric Anderson, Bill Cockrell Center Manager.

The Youth Symposium aims to highlight pressing issues that impact
today's youth. This essential program, created by Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated seeks to educate, inspire,
empower, and foster leadership skills among young people through engaging workshops and interactive activities.

Join Eta Psi Sigma Alumnae Chapter in recognizing the last three Poodles of the Month for the sorority year. Each one has contributed to the Chapter with greater service, and we want to raise our poodle paws in salute. Soror Denise Tolber, Soror Myesha Henson, Soror Pamela Jackson well done!

We want to give special recognition to our Sigma Lady of Achievement, Soror Pamela White and our Poodle of the Year, Soror Dia Johnson. These Sorors go above and beyond, and Eta Psi Sigma appreciates your work and dedication.
