Please help us welcome Mrs. Keisha Rose to the Judson Magnet family! Originally from Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Rose is stepping up to the plate as our new librarian. With experience spanning both the classroom and library, she is passionate about fostering a love of reading and lifelong learning in every student.

🎓 Education & Certifications:
• Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS)
• Certified in Elementary Education (Grades 1–8)
• Certified School Librarian
• Certified Early Interventionist

⚾️ Experience:
Mes. Rose has served students in a variety of educational settings throughout her career. Her experience includes teaching grades 1–3, Early Childhood Special Education, and serving as both an elementary and middle school librarian. As an experienced school librarian, she is committed to creating a welcoming environment where students can explore, discover, and develop a lifelong love of reading.

Today was a full circle moment for Judson Magnet School ❤️🖤

Today, our graduating seniors were proudly led in by Principal Goree for a special Senior Walk Down Memory Lane, returning to the place where so many of their journeys first began at Judson Magnet School.

Our 5th Grade Warriors enjoyed the introductions, hearing seniors share their experiences, and participating in a meaningful Q&A session filled with advice and encouragement for the future.

And of course, Ms. Brantley received so much love today and a few extra visits students simply could not resist. It is clear that meaningful “teaching and learning” create lasting connections, and we can certainly see why she is our Teacher of the Year.

Ms. Gordy was also a favorite among many of our returning seniors, with several stopping by to share hugs, smiles, and special moments before heading out.

Thank you to our seniors for coming back to inspire the next generation of Warriors. Your story started here, and your Judson Magnet School family will always be cheering you on.

🎉🛼 Straight A’s deserve a celebration! 🛼🎉

Principal Goree treated our outstanding scholars who earned straight A’s during the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd nine weeks to a fun day of skating and lunch and they had an AMAZING time!

We are incredibly proud of these students for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to academic excellence all year long. Their success is worth celebrating, and this was a well deserved reward! ❤️🖤

Mr. Reid, proud father of 4th grader Jaden Reid, is a true example of what it means to support a school community. Whether he’s capturing special moments at school events, having lunch with his daughter, supporting our school through donations, or surprising our office staff with lunch, his kindness and generosity never go unnoticed.

His consistent presence and willingness to give back have made a lasting impact on our students, staff, and families. We are grateful for the positive relationships he continues to build throughout Warrior Nation.
