Congratulations to the Caddo Magnet Quiz Bowl program for their record-breaking performance at the national tournament this year!

The A team (Johnny Zheng, Gil Pedrotty, Lily Bodily and Annelise Whited) finished tied for 8th place out of over 300 teams at the tournament. The B team (Elaine Lu, Graeme Neeley, Sahil Thorat and Luke Arnold) advanced to playoffs and finished tied for 65th place. This is the best finish for a team from Louisiana in the history of this national competition, and the first time Magnet has ever had a B team advance to playoffs.

Many of these players began their quiz bowl journey at our summer camp - a few spaces are still available if you know a rising 6th through 9th grader who might be interested in joining!
