Meet Jarred Hicks, one of the newest artists at 318 Art & Frame.
Working with white charcoal on black canvas, Jarred creates incredibly detailed pieces that feel bold, dramatic, and completely different from anything else in the gallery.
We love the way his black-and-white style brings a fresh perspective to familiar subjects, and trust us, the detail is even better in person.
Come see Jarred’s work in the gallery or browse his available pieces online at 318artandframe.com.

The art emoji had potential… but we would like a word. 🖼️😂
Give us a little color. A little personality. Maybe an alligator, a blue heron, a Bourbon Street sign, and a little Louisiana flavor while you’re at it.
Until then, we’ll just keep filling your walls with the version you deserve. 💕
If color makes you happy, Sharon Furrate Bailey’s work is hard to resist. 🎨
Based in Baton Rouge, Sharon is known for her vibrant abstracts and whimsical Louisiana-inspired pieces, including her much-loved crawfish series. Her work is playful, expressive, and full of the kind of color that can completely change a room.
And a fun fact: Sharon’s artwork has even appeared in films and on the television series Queen Sugar.
Come see Sharon’s work in person at 318 Art & Frame or browse her available pieces online. ❤️

A little update to our store hours! ❤️
318 Art & Frame is now open Tuesday–Saturday from 10am–5pm, with Sundays and Mondays reserved for a little more behind-the-scenes time.
But we also know those hours don’t work for everyone. If you’d like to come shop, browse the gallery, or talk custom framing and can’t make it during regular hours, we’re happy to make an appointment when we can. Just give us a little heads up and call us at 318-626-5439.
New hours, same 318. We can’t wait to see you!

You don’t need an art degree to know what belongs on your wall.
You just need to pay attention to what keeps pulling you back.
Does it catch your eye twice? Is there a detail you can’t stop looking at? Can you picture living with it for years? Does it feel like you?
That’s the part of buying art we wish more people trusted. Your taste doesn’t need an explanation or anyone else’s approval.
Save this little “wall test” for the next time you fall in love with a piece. And when you’re ready, come see what catches you in person at 318 Art & Frame or browse online.
A little piece of Louisiana, made right here in Shreveport. 🦪
Our newest shell art features oysters, clams, and scallops with plenty of Louisiana personality, all created locally right here in Shreveport.
And the best part? You can shop the collection in store AND online! Stop by to see them in person or browse from home at 318artandframe.com.
If you love Louisiana food and the stories that come with it, Mosquito Supper Club is such a good one to have on your shelf.
Written by Melissa M. Martin, this cookbook is a beautiful look at the recipes, traditions, ingredients, and people behind South Louisiana’s Cajun cooking. It’s filled with dishes that feel familiar, along with the stories and history that explain why this food means so much to the people who grew up with it.
It’s part cookbook, part storytelling, and a really special celebration of Louisiana food and culture.
