In this time I have put in countless hours before, during, and after school attempting to turn my passion for this art form into something I can be proud of.

This is a Rakku-fired hand-thrown bowl. It was fired in an oxygen-rich atmosphere to get the white, then it was fired in reduction to create the, smoky lines and cracks. This piece is safe with food and water, but the more it's washed the more the dark colors will fade. It is 3 inches tall and 8.5 inches wide.
