Jessica Osborn was born in Minden, LA and raised in Ringgold, LA where she graduated from Lakeside Jr/Sr Highschool, Class of 2019.
She has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Northwestern State University with the Fall Class of 2022.
Jessica has accepted a job in the SICU at Willis-Knighton North. In the future she wishes to pursue earning a master’s degree and become a nursing instructor!
Jessica's message to family and friends: I can’t believe I’m finally graduating. This has been a long journey full of hardships. To my family: thank you for always believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you for always being my first patient in any new skill I learned. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without your constant love and support. Thank you so much to everyone that has cheered me on during this journey!

Raven Wiswell was born in Lafayette, La and raised in Deridder, La where she graduated from Deridder High School, Class of 2011.
She has obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Northwestern State University with the Fall Class of 2022.
In the future she wishes to work on a Med Surg Unit and then pursue her BSN degree.
Raven's message to family and friends: First, I want to thank my husband, Travis, for always believing in me when I wasn't too sure myself. Thank you for the constant motivation and pep talks. He had to play mom and dad while I went through nursing school, and he totally rocked it! To my children, Tobias & Talon, mommy loves you both so much. You guys are my motivation to be a better me every single day. I also want to thank my parents for always being available to help with the boys. I couldn't of done it without you both. Thank you to my siblings, who never let me give up and always encouraged me to keep going. My brother Joshua, you are always on my mind and in my heart. I know you would be proud of me today. This one is for you!

Seth was born and raised in Shreveport where he graduated from Captain Shreve High School, Class of 1991.
He and his wife Jodi both obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from NSU in 2002. Seth has now completed the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program with Northwestern State University Fall Class of 2022.
Seth currently works as a clinical educator in the Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas. He is undecided regarding his future educational goals but is enjoying his nursing career.
Seth's message to family and friends: I want to make a public decleration that I would not have been able to achieve this degree without the help of my family. My daughter Rachels sacrifice of time, and the tremendous support of my wife Jodi who has tirelessly gone above and beyond to assist me in this pursuit. Thank you both so much! I love you!

Emily has accepted a job in the Emergency Department at Willis Knighton Medical Center.
Emily’s message to family and friends:
1st off I want to thank God for giving me the knowledge and strength to get through this schooling and enter the nursing profession. Next, I would like to thank my parents for pushing me to be the best version of myself I can be while being my biggest cheerleaders and picking me up when I didn’t have faith in myself. Next, I would like to thank all my friends for sticking by my side even when I bailed on plans to study or barely answering my phone. Thank yall for listening to be complain and rant about everything that was going on I couldn’t have done it without yall. And a special thank you to Taylor Christian as she was my right-hand man throughout this journey and always pushed me to do my best. Thank you for believing in me.

Morgan has accepted a job in the PICU at Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas, Texas, in the future she wishes to pursue obtaining a master’s degree in nursing and travel around the world.

Anna has accepted a job in the Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Ochsner LSU. in the future, she plans to obtain her CCRN and further pursue music and songwriting.

Priscilla Roberts was born in Homer, Louisiana and was raised in rural Claiborne Parish. She graduated from Homer High School, Class of 2002, and began her career as a LPN.
She obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from SouthArk Community College in 2013. Priscilla has now completed the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program with Northwestern State University Fall Class of 2022.
Priscilla currently works for the Office of Public Health at Bossier Parish Health Unit.

Vernell Eason Banks was born in Shreveport, LA and raised in Benton, LA where she graduated from Benton High School.
She has obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Northwestern State University with the Fall Class of 2022. She has been an LPN for many years.
Vernell currently has a job in the Education Department at Ochsner’s and will continue to work there. In the future she wishes to pursue obtaining her bachelor’s degree and certifications in Med-Surg and becoming a Certified Nurse Educator.

She has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Northwestern State University with the Fall Class of 2022. She has obtained an Associate of Science in Pharmacy Technician degree from Bossier Parish Community College with the Fall Class of 2014.
Justina has accepted a job in the Operating Room within Willis Knighton Health System. In the future she wishes to pursue her dream as a travel nurse.
Justina's message to family and friends: I would like to say thank you to my family, friends, and instructors. Without you all, I would not have been successful. I would like to give a special thank you to my mother, Valerie, for your encouraging words, always believing in me, and being my number one supporter. My sister, Jasmine, for always helping me with assignment when I was stuck on something and being my cheerleader. My best friend/boyfriend, Nick, for supporting me through this journey and for helping me with studying for exams. My best friends Maraih and LT for always being there and helping me to stay stress free. I would like to give my daughter, Ari'yanna, the biggest thank you for being the greatest inspiration to achieve a nursing degree. Courtney has accepted a job on the medical unit at Christus Highland. In the future she wishes to pursue professional licensure and obtain a master’s degree.
Courtney's message to family and friends: First, I would like to thank my wonderful parents, my siblings, all my amazing family, and friends that are like family. I could not have gotten through these last 4.5 years without the support of each of you! I can’t go without recognizing my best friends and roommates, Meg, and Hailey- I truly could not have made it through nursing school without the two of you. Y’all have been by my side through the good, bad, ugly, and all the late-night tears! I am so thankful for everyone that has supported me and prayed for my success on this journey! Thank you to all my wonderful professors that have helped mold me into the nurse I’ve always dreamed of becoming! Haley currently works in Utilization Management at Humana. In the future she wishes to pursue Labor and Delivery.
