Senior nursing students prepare for patient care through homelessness outreach NATCHITOCHES – Senior Bachelor of Science in Nursing students at Northwestern State University's Cenla campus connected people experiencing homelessness in downtown Alexandria with information about local resources while gaining experience

Willis Knighton is proud to welcome Ashley Ramos as the newest member of our telemetry team at Willis Knighton Pierremont. A 2026 graduate of Magnolia School of Excellence 6-12, she also participated in our Health Occupations Partnership (HOP) program and is the first HOP alum to be hired. A collaborative initiative with Caddo Parish Public Schools, HOP fosters the next generation of healthcare leaders by offering valuable clinical exposure and professional development to students. Since its launch in 2023 with two schools, the program has grown to include five local partner schools. Ashley is also pursuing her nursing degree at Northwestern State University, supported by a Willis Knighton Health scholarship dedicated to removing financial barriers and promoting educational and career advancement.
