Well-deserved applause to our Concerto Competition winners: Ashini Modi on her sensitive rendition of the Adagio movement of the Bruch: Violin Concerto No. 1 and Neelie Lim for her passionate Lark Ascending. The audience and I were truly moved by your performances. All the the best to you and our other graduates: Matthew Guck & Jo Bennett on your scholarly and life pursuits. You are all welcome back to visit!
Thank you to Thomas Hundemer for allowing us to perform, Lachrymosa. We hope we

I thank you along with your wife Sally Horak, Deborah and Michael Scarlato, Brennen Templeton, Theresa Bridges, Joy Yang, Chandler Teague, Ravon Rayy Cullins, Khariq Frost and Eliot Haas for being key components to the success of the program. Your support and musicianship for more than just this concert are such an inspiration to the young people and college students of CYO. It takes a village and you are part of this. I am truly indebted.
Finally, thank you and bravo to our brilliant vocal soloists Dr.Janani Sridhar and Dr. Cory Wikan in “Oh My Papa” and “Tonight”. It was a thrill to make music with such consummate professionals and colleagues. Your willingness and support of CYO means so much to me and the students.
