GREER KENNEDY - VIOLA
Greer Kennedy is a freshman at Caddo Magnet High School, where she is co-principal viola in the orchestra and recent winner of the concerto competition. Greer has been practicing viola with the Centenary Suzuki School since she was three years old and currently studies with Charles Regauer. She has attended the Green Mountain Suzuki Institute in Vermont over the past seven years, and she qualified for the 2020-2021 Louisiana All-State Orchestra. Greer is a member of the Caddo Magnet tennis team and she enjoys playing with her neighborhood quartet, The Avenue.

VERONICA SEAL-BRAVO – FLUTE (Centenary College Class of 2021)
Veronica Seal-Bravo is a native of Lima, Peru and has lived in the United States since 2012. She started her instruction in flute ten years ago and has since participated in LMEA’s District Honor Band and All-State concert band. She has previously been instructed by Dr. Denette McDermott and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts in general music under the instruction of Sally Horak at Centenary College of Louisiana

What a pleasure it was to have Alexander Kerr, concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, offer a masterclass while in Shreveport for a performance with the Shreveport Symphony! Mr. Kerr worked with Centenary Suzuki School student, Cal Alexander (student of Laura Crawford, Centenary, and Jan Sloman, Cleveland Institute of Music) on the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D Major, op. 35, which Cal will perform with the Centenary Youth Orchestra on Sunday, April 11 in the Hargrove Memorial Amphitheater on Centenary's campus! Details for the concert will be posted in the comments below! Many thanks, Mr. Kerr!
