The annual 4th Grade Living Museum was held Friday, May 14th. Each fourth grader chose a significant person in history to research. The students then composed a monologue telling about the person they were portraying.
On the day of the event, students arrived at school in costume and “posed” in front of the Sanctuary.
When museum visitors pressed the “button” on the students’ hands, the students came to life as
their character shared the monologue they prepared and memorized.

Mrs. Flint's Kindergarten Busy Bears spent the first 100 days of school crossing out a piece of popcorn for each day. When the chart was completed, they celebrated with all things popcorn. They read popcorn books, counted out 100 popcorn kernels and 100 pieces of popped popcorn and weighed and made popcorn comparisons on a platform scale and on a balance scale. Of course, eating popcorn was a big part of the celebration. The Bears tasted eight different kinds of popcorn, chose their favorite then ate until they were 100% FULL!
