In our Pharmacy Technology lab, students train on Pioneer Rx, a pharmacy management system used across the industry. It gives them hands-on practice with data entry, drug interactions, and inventory management before they ever start an externship.

Our Medical Assisting students spend their days learning skills they'll use for the rest of their careers: checking vital signs, practicing patient care, learning medical terminology, and getting comfortable with phlebotomy. By the time they finish, they've also completed a 120-hour externship at real healthcare facilities like Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Willis Knighton Health, so they're walking into their first job with actual hands-on experience already behind them.

Yesterday we celebrated our VP of Admissions, Jacey Densmore's, last day. She is in the black sweater in each photo.

After more than 15 years with us, we're incredibly grateful for the dedication, leadership, and impact she's made throughout her career. She's played an important role in helping thousands of students pursue their career goals while also making a lasting impact on the admissions team she's worked with along the way.

She begins a new and exciting chapter, and we couldn't be happier for her as she moves to her favorite place on earth (Florida) to enjoy life on the beach and time out on her boat. She will be greatly missed, but we wish her nothing but happiness and smooth sailing in this next adventure!

A big congratulations to the five Electrical Technician students who were honored at the Module X Solutions Scholarship Award Ceremony on July 24: Bralyn Martin, Roman Ochill, Kel'Teon Gant, Dejon Jordan, and Broderick Smith. Their hard work and dedication earned them this recognition, and we could not be prouder.

Every HVAC technician who works with refrigerants needs an EPA Section 608 certification. It's a federal requirement under the Clean Air Act, and our HVAC students prepare for it as part of their training.

There are four certification types: Type I for small appliances, Type II for high-pressure systems, Type III for low-pressure equipment, and Universal for all equipment.
