DBMS Patriot Booster Club

The DBMS Booster Club would like to answer some arising questions regarding the 2021/2022 school year uniforms (i.e.: Spirit Shirts)...as many of you know DBMS typically has multiple fundraisers throughout the year, but due to covid, we were not allowed to do that last year. The DBMS Spirit Shirt not only gives your student an alternate shirt from the Polo style shirt, but it's also a way for them to show their Patriot Spirit. THIS MAY BE THE ONLY FUNDRAISER HELD BY THE SCHOOL. Funds received from the spirit shirts sales are used for many different areas within the school for Students and Staff...So, let's see that PATRIOT PRIDE!

Also, a few have asked if you can wear lastyears shirts for the new 21'-22' school year and the answer is NO! Again, this may be the ONLY fundraiser for the school.

A little late, but we want to take the time to THANK all of the donations that were provided for the meals at DBMS for Teacher Appreciation Week! The Staff had an array of items for breakfast and lunches, such as pizza hut pizza..assorted pastries..taco bell..BBQ Sandwiches and etc.

Friday: 4th and 5th may wear their PJs again!

THIS WEEK AT DBMS:
MON - Softball game vs. Broadmoor at 5:30 pm at NHS;
WED - Spirit Day at DB - wear your current spirit shirt or Mindset Matters shirt with blue jeans (no holes);
THURS - Falcon Fan Day - wear your NHS shirt/colors with uniform bottoms; Softball game @ Southwood @ 5:30 pm; and
This is the last week of the 1st nine weeks - check your child's grades in the Student Progress Portal. As always, thank you for your support!

PARENTS: If you chose VIRTUAL, you should have received a text message this evening with an orientation date/time to sign virtual contract and check out device. Only ONE parent is allowed - no students- to keep our group size small. If you chose virtual and did not receive a text, call the school tomorrow between 8 and 3 at 929-4106 or email Mrs. Wall at [email protected].

DBMS timeline posted Monday:
1) Survey sent out Monday regarding Internet access and devices. Only one survey per household, please.
2) March 16-20: Teachers are working this week to prepare/update their online lessons. We will utilize Google Classroom and most of our teachers and students have already been using it.
3) March 23-27: Spring Break
4) March 30 - April 3: Distribute materials as needed
5) April 6: Online lessons officially begin.
