✨ Starting in September at The Little School, our toddlers are learning All About Me! ✨
Throughout the month, our little learners will explore what makes them uniquely them through hands-on activities, movement, music, stories, and play. 💛
We’ll be learning about:
🌟 Body parts & the five senses
🌟 Feelings and emotions
🌟 Healthy routines
🌟 Clothing and everyday independence
🌟 Kindness
🌟 The letters F, T & P
🌟 The color brown and the number 1
🌟 Sign language, music, movement & so much more!
We also love giving our families simple ways to continue the learning at home, from bedtime routines and car-ride emotion games to shape walks and creating something special for a loved one. 🥰
And as we help each child discover who they are, we’re reminded of Ephesians 2:10:
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” 🤍
Every child is wonderfully made, full of purpose, and growing more each day. We can’t wait to see all the learning, confidence, kindness, and fun this month brings! 🌱✨

To My Little School Family,
There are moments in life that you know are coming, but no matter how much you prepare yourself, they still break your heart. This is one of those moments for me.
If you know me, you know that one of the hardest things I have ever had to do is let go of the people who become family to me. The Little School has never been just a job or a business—it’s my heart, my passion, and my family. When someone becomes part of that family, they leave footprints that can never be erased.
Morgan, you have been so much more than an employee. You have been someone I have mentored, encouraged, laughed with, cried with, leaned on, and watched grow into an incredible young woman. Watching you discover your passion and work so hard to become a teacher has been one of the greatest blessings for me.
I’ll never forget helping you study for your teaching exam. We somehow managed to learn all 50 states and their capitals in just a couple of hours! 😆 My teaching methods may have been a little crazy, but I hope you’ll always remember that moment the same way I will—with lots of laughter and a whole lot of determination.
As much as my heart hurts today, I refuse to stand in the way of your dreams. I have always believed that our purpose is to help people grow, even when growing means they have to spread their wings and fly. That’s exactly what you’re doing.
So today isn’t goodbye.
I refuse to say goodbye.
Instead, I’m saying, “See you later.”
Morgan is simply pressing pause on her journey with The Little School. She will always be part of our family, and no amount of distance or time will ever change that. Our doors will always be open, and she’ll always have a place in our hearts.
To the children, the families, and our staff—you may never truly know the impact Morgan has had. She has loved your children, celebrated their milestones, comforted their tears, and helped shape their little lives in ways that will last forever. Those are the kinds of people who never stop being part of a school family.
Morgan, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for believing in me, believing in The Little School, and giving so much of yourself to our children and our community. Thank you for every early morning, every late afternoon, every smile, every hug, every lesson, and every memory.
I couldn’t be more proud of the woman you have become. Watching you chase your dream fills me with so much pride, even through the tears.
Go be the amazing teacher I have always known you would become. Love your students the way you’ve loved ours. Change lives. Make a difference. And never forget where part of your story began.
This isn’t the end of your Little School story.
It’s simply the beginning of your next chapter.
We love you more than words could ever express, and we can’t wait to welcome you home whenever that day comes.
With all my love,
Shelley Stewart

The Fruit of the Spirit 🍎
Lord, help us bear the fruit of the Spirit this year and reflect Jesus in everything we do and say. Amen. ❤️
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23

Teaching isn't about having easy days—it's about showing up with a heart that never gives up. 🍎
