Such a Great Fall Semester For Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society's Beta Beta Nu Chapter at SUSLA! 💙💛 Our College Project, Student Mental Health in HBCUs, and Induction Ceremony Were a Success! Very Proud! 🎓

Sooo I was blessed with the opportunity to speak to the students at Paul Mitchell (formerly known as Pat Goins) on their Wellness Wednesday. I appreciate the chance to share vital information about self-care, educational stress, and other important wellness topics. I'm grateful for the token of appreciation from the school! Although I am a Mental Health Professional, I decided to take a step further to become a Certified Student Mental Health Specialist! 👩🏾‍🏫

Our students from primary to higher education are continuing to experience stressors beyond measure.😔 I can't count how many office visits, calls, and emails I've received from students who are mentally and emotionally overwhelmed.😫 I have and I will continue to provide student support!💙💛
