A new school year is bringing a new, easier way to pay school fees!

For the 2026-2027 school year, Caddo Schools is launching SchoolCash Online, the district’s new payment platform for school-related fees. SchoolCash Online will replace PaySchools Central and will become the main way families make school payments.

Beginning tomorrow, June 1, parents and guardians will start receiving auto-subscribe emails with instructions to get started. Be sure to check your email and follow the steps so your account is ready to go.

With SchoolCash Online, families will be able to view fees, make payments, receive reminders and keep school payments organized, all in one convenient and secure place.

Check your inbox, follow the instructions and get ready for a simpler way to pay for the 2026-2027 school year!

Greetings! Due to limited spots in summer remediation, only specific schools were approved to send students to summer school. Therefore, only 3rd grade students from our campus who scored well below on Dibels literacy screener can attend. All other students from Southern Hills in grades Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th will not attend. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to serving our 3rd grade students at Keithville Elementary Middle June 1st through the 18th from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact the school. Have a wonderful day!

Beanstack: Reading Challenges and Personalized Recommendations 05/17/2026

This summer, Shreve Memorial Library is inviting children, teens and adults to Plant a Seed, Read! as part of the library’s annual Summer Reading Program. Throughout the summer, library patrons of all ages are invited to visit the library to discover books and amazing programs to grow new skills, sprout new interests, and let their love of reading bloom. Pre-registration for the Summer Reading Program opens on Monday, May 11, and the program runs Monday, June 1 through Friday, July 31.

The 2026 iREAD theme, Plant a Seed, Read!, provides a context for exploring culture, history, science, health, and human connection and is rooted in the concept of farm-to-table. As farms grow food to nourish the body, libraries grow ideas to nourish the mind. Both food and stories form connections with family, culture, economy and ecology. Plant a Seed, Read invites library patrons to feast on new ideas and experiences through reading.

The Plant a Seed, Read Summer Reading Program is open to all ages. Library patrons can participate by logging minutes read, attending library programs, and completing fun challenges. Children and teens will earn “Book Bucks” redeemable for fun prizes for every 20 minutes read. Those who read at least 300 minutes throughout the summer and complete the Summer Reading Program challenge will receive a variety of completion prizes and entries toward Summer Reading Program raffle drawings, featuring prizes such as Plant a Seed, Read! tumblers, mugs, artwork, gift cards, book bags, educational toys, and more.

Shreve Memorial Library patrons can sign up for the Plant a Seed, Read Summer Reading Program beginning Monday, May 11 via the library’s Beanstack site at https://shreve-lib.beanstack.org/reader365. The Summer Reading Program is open to all ages. Those who register will receive a registration bag complete with reading log, bookmarks, seed packet, and other pertinent information while supplies last. Participants can begin logging time on Monday, June 1

Beanstack: Reading Challenges and Personalized Recommendations Beanstack is a platform for reading challenges and book recommendations for any organization, especially libraries and schools.
