Southern Hills Elementary is grateful for the gift of giving! A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Terry Henry for generously donating backpacks to support students in need at Southern Hills Elementary. Your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated. 🎒🫶🏽✨

This thoughtful donation was made on behalf of the Four Quarters Club, founded by the late Jessie Henry, who proudly served as a member of the Bossier City Fire Department. 🚒❤️

We are truly grateful for this beautiful act of kindness and for the opportunity to carry on Jessie’s legacy of service, compassion, and giving back to others. 💙

📸✨ CAUGHT LEARNING! ✨📚

Learning is happening everywhere at Southern Hills! 💙🤍

🍎 1st Grade: Mrs. Moore took learning outside for a brain break while students reviewed Louisiana symbols, facts, and history! Hands were up and minds were working!

📖 3rd Grade: Mr. Birdsong joined Ms. Harris’ class during enrichment to read Tops and Bottoms. Students were engaged, volunteering to read, and locked in on the story!

We love catching our Vikings learning! 💙📚🚢

🎉 NO REFERRALS = DANCE PARTY! 🎉

Our Vikings are learning that GOOD BEHAVIOR PAYS OFF! 💙🤍

Students who earned NO major or minor referrals got to celebrate with a well-deserved dance party! They danced, laughed, and had some fun while continuing to show what it means to be a Viking:

⭐ Respectful
⭐ Responsible
⭐ Reliable

We love celebrating our students for making positive choices and doing their part to keep our school on a Voyage to Excellence! 🚢✨
