The Shreveport Chapter of Guitars for Vets has an all-volunteer staff comprised entirely of Veterans from the Marine Corps, Navy, Army & Air Force, all of which are determined to make a difference in the lives of their fellow Veterans. Our mission is to share the healing power of Music with Veterans struggling with physical injuries, PTSD, and other mental health issues. We do this by providing 10

Guitars For Vets Shreveport Chapter Coordinator Carl "Bo**er" Townley accepted Citizen of the Year Award for all of the Guitars for Vets, Shreveport Chapter Instructor's and our Volunteer staff Terra Leigh Morgan and Cross Lake Palooza event coordinator Barbara Conway along with our family at Lowe-McFarlane Post No. 14 Commander and G4V Graduate Ben Cothran along with Office Manager Elizabeth Sims!
