The Winston School of Short Hills

The Winston School of Short Hills Winston delivers a multi-sensory Orton-Gillingham program.

The Winston School of Short Hills is a specialized school for students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, processing disorders, dyscalculia, and executive functioning disorders. At The Winston School of Short Hills we focus on helping students to overcome difficulties in school due to language-based learning differences, dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, low processing speed, central aud

itory processing disorder, and poor organizational and executive functioning skills. We are committed to providing a warm, nurturing and individualized learning environment for each child in our school. Our reading programs are Orton-Gillingham-based, and we believe in a multi-modality approach to teaching in every discipline and at every grade level. We strive to create a comfortable educational environment based on understanding our students' challenges and strengths with the main goal in mind: Help them regain academic confidence in order to succeed and move to mainstream public, independent, boarding, and parochial schools.
