Lake Bluff PTO

Good Morning Lake Bluff - the following message was sent out via Infinite Campus this morning from Principal French.

“Unfortunately, due to inclement weather and a high likelihood of thunderstorms, we need to cancel today's Hot Dog Day.

Hot dogs will still be served for lunch to all students who ordered one. Yearbooks will be distributed to students, and teachers will provide time during the school day for students to sign one another's yearbooks.

While we know our students and families were looking forward to this event, safety must remain our top priority.

If you would like to purchase additional yearbooks or Hot Dog Day shirts, please stop in the main office at Lake Bluff before the end of the school year.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We appreciate your support and look forward to the many other end-of-year celebrations and activities that remain ahead.”

Looking for something to do this morning? Come by Lake Bluff between now and noon to help pull weeds, spread mulch and plant flowers! Just think of how nice this will look on Hot Dog Day!

Please join us for a fun day of planting at Lake Bluff! We will be planting a garden around the beagle sculpture, adding mulch to the front garden beds and planting flowers in the front planters . Equipment will be provided, but bring your own gardening gloves and shovels if you have them!

We will be there from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm on Sunday, May 31st. Come for a bit or for the whole time.

The whole family is welcome, but please note - this is not a drop off event.

So we can get an approximate head count, please let us know if you are able to!

It's the final week for this year's All School Read, "The Eyes & The Impossible". We hope you've enjoyed the book as much as we have. We are also looking for a new chairperson to lead this tradition next year, please email [email protected] if you are interested!
