Our very first alumni class is graduating from high school this year, and we love hearing about their plans for next year.
Whether heading to Cal Poly (Business), McGill University (Kinesiology), Fordham University (English & Writing), Gonzaga University (Electrical Engineering), the University of Bordeaux in France (Biology and Sociology), or spending a year in Norway focused on skiing and climbing, we are proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see where their journeys take them next.
Congratulations, NSFS alumni!

Today, our Kindergarten / grande section students had a wonderful virtual visit with children’s author Aaron Wills. Students enjoyed hearing about the writing process, asking questions, and sharing their excitement for books and storytelling. Thank you to Aaron Wills for this fun and inspiring moment with our students!

"It’s Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, and I experience NSFS from both sides: as a parent, watching my son come home with a smile, proud to share what he discovered that day; and as a staff member.
I’m not a teacher. I’m not the one showing patience, enthusiasm, and kindness all day in the classroom. But I do have a front-row seat to the small, meaningful moments that make a good day at school.
Thank you NSFS teachers for your energy, your dedication, and your commitment to making our school such a special place."
Aurélie, NSFS staff & parent

Our previous head of school, Jennifer Annable, was recognized at the NWAIS Spring Heads Meeting last night for all her accomplishments. Thank you Jennifer for the love, passion, and expertise you have been bringing to NSFS and other schools before us.

NSFS students participated in La Course aux Nombres, a mental math competition organized by the AEFE that brought together French-American schools across North America. During the first round, students answered 30 mental math questions in 10 minutes. The challenge celebrated the mental math skills students had practiced throughout the year.
Congratulations to our 2 students who will be advancing to the finals, to our 3rd grade class for placing 14th out of 57 other 3rd grade classes, and to all of our 1st to 5th grades for competing! Bravo ✅💭👏🏻
