"I feel fortunate that through my role supporting field trips, facility rentals, and athletics, I have the opportunity to connect with people across all of our buildings in Shoreline. What stands out most to me are the incredible people who make up our district. Our students, staff, and community are the reason Shoreline School District continues to be such an extraordinary place to be a part of. "

- Vicki Klein, District Athletics and Facility Use Technician

District Athletic Director Don Dalziel shares, "Vicki is out front with our community regardless of the task. Facility use, athletics, stadium events are all areas where our community engages with the work that Vicki does on the daily. She is the reason our athletic programs and events run as well as they do. She is a great ambassador of the Shoreline School District!"

We are celebrating All-Staff Appreciation Week in Shoreline Schools. Please join us in thanking them for all that they do for our students!

Congratulations are in order for Shorewood High School's own Coach Reese and Coach Villanueva, who were selected as Boys Cross Country 2025 State Coaches of the Year! 👏

Paul Villanueva has been the head XC coach at Shorewood for 16 years! He's also coached Track & Field for 25 years and spent 7 years as an assistant football coach. Joel Reese has been coaching Stormray WC runners for ten years and Track & Field for almost as long. 💙 💚

Please join us in thanking these coaches for their coaching, leadership, and mentorship of so many students in their careers and celebrating their well-deserved honor!

Even in the face of recent years' budget challenges—and despite necessary increases to student fees (always waived for families in need)—no extracurricular programs have been cut.

Thanks to ongoing levy support from our community, every sport and activity remains available to students. 🙌
