The integration of faith and learning doesn't begin in elementary school. It begins in the earliest moments of childhood, when children are filled with wonder, eager to explore, and learning to trust. Jesus reminds us of the beauty of childlike faith: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14).

Summer Fest was a wonderful day of community, family fun, and fantastic cars! We were thrilled to host 99 beautiful classic and specialty cars. Our CRISTA Senior Living team served nearly 1,000 hot dogs to guests throughout the day, keeping everyone fueled for the festivities.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, showcased a vehicle, and helped make Summer Fest such a memorable event. We loved bringing our community together and worshipping Jesus together, and look forward to seeing you again next year!

Our hearts are with all those impacted by yesterday’s tragedy. We are praying for comfort for the families and loved ones who are grieving and healing for those who are injured. Jesus be near.

At King’s Schools, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Located at the heart of the CRISTA Ministries campus and alongside CRISTA Senior Living, students have unique opportunities to live out their faith through service and relationship. Through a student‑led program called Tech with Teens, King’s student Jack Rodda and his peers partner with residents to navigate their smartphones, learn how to avoid online scams, and better understand emerging technology like AI.

In a culture where generations are increasingly separated, the CRISTA campus offers a beautiful picture of the Body of Christ: people of all ages learning from one another, building meaningful relationships, and living out God’s call to love and serve our neighbors.

“I Told the Lord, ‘I Want to Work There.’”
 
When Luwam moved nearby CRISTA’s campus, she noticed what looked like a castle. Curious, she prayed a simple prayer: “Lord, I want to work there.” Soon after, while applying for jobs, she discovered CRISTA Ministries. “I prayed again, ‘I want to work at CRISTA. I love what they stand for.’”
 
The moment she stepped into the Welcome Center for her interview, she felt something powerful. “It was holy ground. I was surrounded by such a cloud of witnesses. And here I am!”
 
Today, Luwam serves as Volunteer Coordinator and Life Enrichment Support at Cristwood Park, where she encourages seniors in their faith and prays with them daily. “Every morning, I wake up and pray for strength, wisdom, and power to support the residents and make their lives as wonderful as possible. Something I love about CRISTA is that everyone has a serving heart.”
 
Her story reminds us that God opens doors in ways we can’t imagine.
