Echo Lake Does THAT?! - STEM Night 🔬 💻 🌉 📐

The PTA’s winter STEM Night is a fun night of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! Exhibitors from companies, non-profit organizations, governmental groups, and colleges like UW show our students that STEM is important, applicable to every day activities, and lots of fun! 😄 Echo Lake has a reputation in our area as one of the best STEM Nights around. We have so many exhibitors that we take over the entire school and have experiences in multiple classrooms as well as filling up the gym AND the library! Check out the map from last year to get an idea of how many exhibits we host!

This popular event could not be done without our PTA volunteers, school staff, and financial support from folks like you 🫵 - so help us out by donating today! 💵 🦅 💵

Echo Lake PTA Does THAT?! - Art Night

The PTA loves giving students a creative outlet, the PTA loves making our school more beautiful, and the PTA loves a good collaboration. In this case, it led to these beautiful wings! Last Spring at our annual Art Night, students decorated feathers with colors and affirmations. These were assembled by PTA board member Val to create these beautiful wings so students can really take flight! 🦅

PTA funds were used to purchase supplies for this fun project. Thank you Val for this labor of love!

Echo Lake PTA Does THAT?! - Social Events

The PTA plans all of the school social events like movie nights, trunk-or-treat, family bingo, and trivia night. PTA volunteers run the events, and sometimes we have teens (and Echo Lake students!) volunteer to help, too. We also organize the Skate Nights at Lynnwood Bowl & Skate. These community-building traditions are events that students and their families really enjoy and have grown to expect to see every year.

Help us continue with these fun events by donating today!

Sometimes we get questions about what the PTA actually does with the money we collect from donations. To help spread the word, we're kicking off our post series called "Echo Lake PTA Does THAT?!"

Please share these posts and help us to reach our $20,000 goal! Remember, Echo Lake PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. No amount is too small, no amount is too large.
