Our spring quarter has started for Clock 403. Here we have a returning student that is working on a Seth Thomas "Owl" alarm clock. He is using a Bergeon bushing tool to replace a worn bushing that is keeping the clock from running properly.

Clock Class 200 - Before we disassemble a movement, we have the students sketch the front and side views of it so they can gain knowledge of how it operates, the gear placement, and the identification of all the parts. Some students take great pride in their drawings, and this one is suitable for framing. 👍

Watch 121 - Intermediate Watch Repair - Students in this class are working with a modern pocket watch movement and learning proper overhaul procedures. Students receive lecture, demonstrations and hands-on experience but layers in activities and class presentations to improve the student’s overall horological knowledge.
