Tomorrow is WACKY WEDNESDAY at SHH!

Mix it up and have some fun—mismatched clothes, crazy hair, silly socks, backwards clothes, two different shoes…whatever you’ve got! 😂 The wackier, the better!

💜 Purple for Stella 💜

Our school was filled with PURPLE for Stella today, and it was pretty special to see. 💜

With the blessing of Stella’s family, our students and staff wore her favorite color as a small way to honor and remember someone who gave 37 years to Shishmaref School. Seeing so much purple throughout the building was a beautiful reminder of just how many lives Stella touched during those years.

As our XC team gets ready to head to Regionals, we’re proud to carry a little of Stella’s school spirit with us. 💜💚🤍

💚🤍💜 XC REGIONALS SPIRIT WEEK! 💜🤍💚

This week, we’ll be showing our Northern Lights spirit as we get ready to send our XC team off to Regionals! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ We kept the days easy, fun, and something everyone can participate in!

💤 Monday – Run Outta Bed Day
Wear your PJs, sweats, or comfiest clothes!

💜 Tuesday – Purple for Stella
With the blessing and permission of Stella’s family, we wanted to carry some of her school spirit with our XC team to Regionals. Purple was Stella’s favorite color, so we invite our students, staff, families, and community to wear purple in her honor. After 37 years of dedication to Shishmaref School, her spirit will always be a part of SHH.

🤪 Wednesday – Wacky Wednesday
Mismatched clothes, crazy hair, silly socks—have fun with it!

🏃 Thursday – Dress Like a Runner Day
Wear your athletic gear, running shoes, sweats, headbands, or whatever makes you look ready to hit the trail!

💚🤍 Friday – Northern Lights Day
GREEN & WHITE OUT! Wear your SHH gear and Northern Lights colors and show that SHH pride!

📣 PEP RALLY – Thursday, September 24 at 3:00 PM!
We’ll come together to send our runners off to Regionals SHH style! 💚🤍 Come ready to cheer, make some noise, and show our team how much their school and community are behind them!

Our Shishmaref Northern Lights XC team is at the WMO Invitational XC Meet today through Saturday! 🌌

We’re proud of these runners for putting in the miles, showing up, and representing Shishmaref! Run hard, have fun, and leave it all on the course! 💪
