Home Away From Home Daycare Daycare Home Away From Home Daycare has been open since September of 1997 serving Shirley and the surrounding communities. We are a licensed home based daycare.

The purpose of our program is patterned to the developmental needs of each child. It strives to contribute to the growth and development of the children in order that he/she may become self-confident, self-sufficient, and self-disciplined, as well as developing self-worth. Children learn basic skills in communication, creativity, and coordination. We also work with the children to learn the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes! Our daycare provides an atmosphere of trust and support.

And just like that it’s over!! I took the weekend to reflect on the wonderful past I’ve been blessed with.. So many wonderful children that have crossed our path and their families!! It has been a privilege to grow with all of you.. I hope all my little munchkins do well in their new daycares.. I wish nothing but the best for all of them!! Thank you to all my wonderful parents for the outpouring of love and support.. this has been very difficult to say the least.. Thank you for the beautiful flowers and gifts!! I will cherish always!! Thank you Miss Laura Thilman-Reiffert for always being there for me..Thank you to Miss Stephanie, Miss Lori and to my husband Jack.. for all your years of help and support!! Now onto temporary retirement.. I’ll slow down eventually!! I love you all ☀️💐🙋‍♀️😢🤗😘🎉
