Congratulations, Dream Diné Charter School! 🎉

We are proud to celebrate Dream Diné Charter School for achieving Traditional School Status with the New Mexico Public Education Department, based on the 2025–2026 Accountability Data! This recognition reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families who continue to walk this path together in support of student growth and achievement. We’ve moved up from CSI (Comprehensive Support and Improvement) status, and school performance has increased, a true reflection of our community’s hard work.

Ahéhee’ to everyone who made this milestone possible. We’re proud of this progress, and excited for what’s next!

✨We had a special surprise today!✨

Shiyazh Pete stopped by Dream Diné and spent time with our K-2 and 4th/5th grade classrooms, reading a story to our younger students and helping our older students create vision boards to think about their goals and dreams. We're grateful for the chance to give our students this experience.

Who qualifies?
• Bachelor's degree, teacher-prep enrollment, or instructional support experience
• Willing to complete paid pre-service training
• Passed background clearance

Our students got to build a garden bed with Brandon Francis and NMSU Agricultural Science’s Seeds of Change program! 🌱

This was more than just a garden bed — it was a hands-on lesson in Diné history, science, and where our food comes from. 💚

We are excited to share that Dream Diné Charter School will be hosting the New Mexico Summer Reading Program for the third year in a row!

This free program provides high-impact, structured literacy instruction for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. At this time, we have 20 student openings available, and we would like to prioritize registration for our Dream Diné students.

If you are interested, please sign up today or as soon as possible to reserve your child’s spot.

Over the past two years, we have seen tremendous growth in students who participated. This program helps students strengthen foundational reading skills, build confidence, and stay academically prepared for the upcoming school year.
