Ending the school year with activities for our students, by our students. 4th and 5th Graders were recognized for their continued growth during the school year at our annual awards assembly.

Then 5th graders got to experience the student/peer band Zombified with an in-house performance. This was so cool! Way to go boys! (Jaxon Moser, Lincoln Lovejoy, & Daemon Brown)

The band even recognized SAIS Principal, Mrs. Mowery, for her willingness to allow them the opportunity to perform and for believing in them. How cool! Way to go Mrs. Mowery!

This past Friday, our students enjoyed a visit from Kona Ice to celebrate their hard work and effort on the PSSAs.

This week our students have the privilege of working with two musicians in their music classes. We are thrilled to have received the Music Artists in Residence grant. Shout out to our music teachers, Ms. Dickinson & Ms. Ifkovitz for applying and our wonderful musicians for visiting us!

Join us in celebrating SAIS Staff Appreciation Week May 4th-May 8th, 2026. Help the PTO in receiving donations of desserts for staff by sending them into school Wednesday, May 6th or Thursday, May 7th. Thank you for your support and help! ☺️

Save the Date-Friday, May 8th, 2026! Join us for an evening of celebrating student achievement both in academics as well as personal hobbies/interests. Students should begin thinking and gathering their artifact, picture, etc. to include themselves in this celebration. The event runs from 6-8pm.
