🎶We know we were made
For so much more than ordinary lives
It's time for us to more than just survive
We were made to thrive🎶

We were challenged this morning in chapel to use the gifts that God has given us to bless others and honor Him.

How do students thrive and use their talents at school?

🔹compliment someone
🔹give gifts to friends and teachers
🔹 help someone struggling with a problem
🔹be a leader
🔹pick trash up from the floor and throw it away
🔹show you care if you see someone is having a bad day.
🔹be patient, calm and quiet when having to wait
🔹make people laugh if God has blessed you with a sense of humor.
🔹be a hard worker and stick at a job until it’s done
🔹 be a good listener
🔹be honest. Be careful not to offend others when you speak

We all have different gifts. Let’s use them for His glory! 🙏🏼

A huge THANK YOU to all of the sponsors that supported our 3rd Annual Fundraiser Auction!

Thank you to the committee for all the hard work that was put into this day. From the auction, the volleyball tournament, food trucks, bake sale and more, it takes a lot of organizing and helpers to make it all happen.

Thank you to all of you that came out on Saturday to support UCA. You are appreciated!

It is a true blessing to see students working together, as the older students help and guide the younger ones, whether it be in chapel or at play.

Next Saturday, September 12th!

Breakfast sandwiches, BBQ, smoothies, coffee drinks, fresh cut fries, soft serve ice cream, homemade baked goods….and more!!

If for nothing else, come on out to the auction for breakfast or lunch…or both!!

There will be a lot of delicious food available for you and your family that day. 🍳🍦🍪

“Between the pages of a book is a wonderful place to be.”

Mrs. Kuhns has been hard at work setting up a school library here at UCA and we are excited about this! 📚

The students have already begun to utilize this and we are in need of more books. We are currently accepting donations if you have any books that you are no longer in need of.

Some books we are looking for:
-Christian/historical biographies, esp high school level
-Anabaptist history
-Mandie Books
-Christian Heritage Series
-Any easy chapter books
-Box car children #7 and up
-Imagination Station #7 and up
-American girl books

And any others you feel would be good for a Christian school library!
